Cynthia Ann McKenna (nee Kuhnapfel), lifelong resident of Babylon Village, passed away in her home surrounded by her family on January 8, 2018. She was 61 years old.
Cynthia is survived by her husband of 36 years, Charles J; her children, Caitlyn Marie (Christopher Chiara) and Megan Elizabeth (Brian Pisano); her 2 granddaughters, Grace Elizabeth
and Sofie Lauren; her loving sisters Susan Kennedy, Mary Victoria O’Keefe (John), Marjorie Moretti; her beloved brother, Richard Kuhnapfel (Tracy) and many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Cynthia received her Associate in Applied Science degree in Nursing from the State University of New York at Morrisville in 1977 followed by a very distinguished nursing career spanning 36 years. Her career focus
was primarily in Women’s Health Services, including, OB/GYN, Breast Cancer, and Infertility.

Cynthia passed away peacefully after a 3-year courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer. She will be remembered for many things but mostly for her compassion, her faith, and her unprecedented devotion to her family.
